She replaces company co-founder Jeff Carpenter, who has held the CEO position since PeopleAdmin’s inception in 2000. Mr. Carpenter will stay actively involved with the company by remaining on PeopleAdmin’s Board of Directors. “Susanne’s vast experience in managing fast-growing companies in our industry – and her commitment to excellent customer service – will be invaluable as we continue to expand,” said PeopleAdmin co-founder Jeff Carpenter, noting Ms. Bowen’s track record in building customer focused Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) businesses. Ms. Bowen has nearly 25 years experience in sales and general management at technology companies. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strong capabilities for growing revenues and profits. As a Senior Vice President at Entex Information Services from 1993 to 1998, she grew her region’s sales to more than $530 million with innovative technology and professional services offerings. Later, as Executive Vice President of sales and services at Workscape, a privately owned human resources software firm, she presided over dramatic expansion in SaaS subscriptions, revenues, and profitability. From 2003 to 2006, Ms. Bowen served as CEO at Webhire, Inc., improving the company’s sales performance with expanded product offerings and new SaaS subscription bookings. After serving as CEO of Nellymoser, a privately held software company that enables the distribution of rich media applications to mobile devices, she most recently served as an Executive in Residence for a venture capital firm.
