Evaluating the performance of both faculty and staff in higher education can be conducted very differently from one institution to the next, and some departments within an institution may see more efficiencies and success than others. All organizations have their challenges, but in higher education this effort can be more complex given the vast cultural & administrative differences that exist across campus.

Gonzaga University enhanced their performance management program with the implementation of an automated performance review system, and approached this undertaking in a strategic manner, establishing a three phase multi-year effort focusing on the evolving culture shift within.
