Jack Blaha – Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer of PeopleAdmin, Jack brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in technology and manufacturing and a strong commitment to providing innovative solutions and an exceptional customer experience. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Aptean, Inc., where he led the global product development, corporate development, professional services and support teams. Prior to that, he served at Vista Consulting Group (VCG), the consulting arm of PeopleAdmin’s parent company, Vista Equity Partners, and also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Semiconductor Support Services Co. Jack’s additional experience includes serving as General Manager at SVTC™ Technologies, and holding General Manager positions at Applied Materials, Inc. Jack started his career as an officer in the U.S. Army. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the Haas School at University of California, Berkeley, and an undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Ziad Fanous – Chief Financial Officer
Ziad brings almost 25 years of finance experience to his role of Chief Financial Officer at PeopleAdmin. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Infogroup — a big data, analytics and marketing services provider. Prior to Infogroup, Ziad held various divisional CFO positions at Dell, including leading the finance teams for the K-12 and Higher Education division, the State and Federal Government division, and the Global Support Services division. Prior to Dell, he held various finance leadership positions at IBM in its mid-range server manufacturing business. He began his career at KPMG. Ziad received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University and an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin McComb School of Business. He is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.
Ann Funai – Chief Technology Officer
Ann is an experienced technology executive who is passionate about delivering innovative and quality solutions to clients. She brings more than 20 years of experience to her role as Chief Technology Officer at PeopleAdmin. Most recently, Ann served as Director of Power/Cognitive Systems Software Development at IBM where she led the 500-member global development team who builds and delivers cloud and systems software that is deployed at Fortune 500 companies around the world. In addition, she was the executive leader for Design Thinking in Cognitive Systems, driving a shift to user-centric product design in that segment of IBM’s business. At PeopleAdmin, Ann oversees the development of market-leading solutions that enable customers to realize value and meet their talent management goals. She holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
Matt Keenan – Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer of PeopleAdmin, Matt brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the enterprise software field. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of CRM products for Aptean, Inc., where he managed and led a global, multi-product portfolio of enterprise customer relationship management solutions. Matt is a frequent author, contributor, and guest speaker on the evolution of enterprise solutions and key strategies to achieve real return on software investments. Earlier in his career, Matt held management and leadership positions with Microsoft, Salesforce.com, Oracle and BearingPoint. At PeopleAdmin, Matt has overall responsibility for product management, marketing and sales. He earned his degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
Jimmy Kelly – Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer of PeopleAdmin, Jimmy Kelly brings over 20 years of software industry experience in professional services, sales and operations, and a demonstrated dedication to delivering an exemplary customer experience. Jimmy joins PeopleAdmin after serving as Managing Director of Customer Operations for Vista Consulting Group, Inc. (VCG), where his primary responsibility was to ensure the integrity and the effectiveness of operations best practices across Vista Equity Partners portfolio companies. Prior to VCG, Jimmy held leadership positions at a number of Vista Equity Partners portfolio companies, including Vice President of Professional Services at Vitera Healthcare Solutions. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from Texas A&M University and lives in Houston, Texas.
Nick Montgomery – Chief Research Officer
Nick Montgomery is an education data scientist and entrepreneur, with a background in computer science and education research, who brings a wide breadth of experience and superb analytical and translation skills. Nick directs the research agenda for PeopleAdmin, along with the translation of best-in-class instruments to our revolutionary platform. Previously he worked for TeacherMatch. Prior to that, he directed and scaled UChicago Impact — an organization providing nationwide school improvement data tools built from high-end research to over 4,000 schools nationwide. Nick holds an Master of Arts in education research from the University of Michigan, and Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Brown University. Nick cultivated his research expertise at the University of Chicago Consortium on Chicago School Research.
Mike O’Donnell – Vice President, People and Places
Mike has 17 years of human resources experience and is responsible for PeopleAdmin’s recruiting, HR operations, learning and development, and administration departments across all the company’s offices. He has held numerous HR leadership roles in various companies, including Blue Health Intelligence and American Airlines/US Airways, where he served as a director of HR. Mike received a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah, and he is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
Ron Huberman – Senior Advisor
As Senior Advisor, Ron Huberman’s passion for empowering educators focuses his talents on building the most innovative, data-informed solutions in the marketplace today. As co-founder of TeacherMatch, he brings a unique and unmatched perspective to advancing teacher and faculty effectiveness and increasing student achievement. He served as CEO and Superintendent of the Chicago Public Schools system, initiating sweeping reforms, including online assessments of all students, new accountability measures, and a first-of-its-kind student safety plan. Ron began his 16-year career in Chicago city government as a police officer, eventually focusing on education. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned his Master of Business Administration from the Booth School at the University of Chicago, along with a master’s in Social Service Administration, where he was both an Albert Schweitzer Fellow and a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellow.
